Dr. Sivaranjani Gali is Professor and Head of the Department of Prosthodontics, Faculty of Dental Sciences, M. S. Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences, Bengaluru. She earned her PhD in 2020 and continued with postdoctoral research focusing on glass-ceramic processing and the mechanical behaviour of dental ceramics. Her work investigates ceramic performance under static and cyclic loading, fracture patterns derived from mechanical testing, and strategies to improve the clinical longevity of dental crowns. Her research also addresses clinically relevant properties such as colour stability and thermal behavior. She is a recipient of the Indo-UK Wellcome Trust DBT India Alliance Research Training and Early Career Fellowships, the George C. Paffenbarger Award at the Academy of Dental Materials (2016) in Chicago, as the first Indian awardee, and recognition for an Innovative Product Prototype at the SERB-INAE Conclave, IIT Kanpur. She has also received an award for sustainability impact at the Indo-Japan Science and Technology Forum, IISc. Dr Gali has contributed to curriculum development, including communication skills training in patient safety, peer-assisted digital learning innovations, and workplace-based assessments for postgraduates. She has over 70 publications, including 20+ Q1 original research papers, along with book chapters and patents.

Dr. Partha Roy is a Professor of Pharmaceutics at GITAM School of Pharmacy, GITAM (Deemed to be University), Visakhapatnam, India, with nearly 19 years of experience in teaching and research. He obtained his Ph.D. from the University of Calcutta and subsequently pursued postdoctoral research in India and Hungary. During his doctoral and postdoctoral training, he received several prestigious fellowships, including those from the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), and the Indo-Hungarian Research Fellowship program. He also served as a pharmacy faculty member at a government university in Malaysia.
Prof. Roy’s research focuses on nanotechnological interventions in drug delivery and medicine. His expertise includes nano-scale formulation development of pleiotropic plant bioactives and the design of novel nano systems for cellular imaging. His work particularly explores engineered polymeric and metal nanoparticles for managing complex diseases such as triple-negative breast cancer and addressing drug resistance. Currently, his research emphasizes carbon- and gold-based nanomaterials for therapeutic and diagnostic applications, alongside sustainable nanomaterial development using waste-to-wealth approaches for antimicrobial therapy and biomedical imaging.
He has published extensively in high-impact peer-reviewed journals and holds six international and one national patent. Prof. Roy also serves on journal editorial boards, delivers invited lectures at international conferences, and has received multiple research grants, awards, and travel fellowships in India and abroad.
